Description:
Charles Mouton was the last representative of the Parisian school of lute playing that was the dominant lute style in Europe during the whole seventeenth century. His elegant and refined music retrospectively summons up this glorious repertoire without being antiquated. On this CD Anders Ericson has put together four suites of pieces to present the finest components of Charles Mouton’s art.
